Tru by Hilton Greensboro

My mom & I travelled from Florida for a 3 night stay to watch my nephew play a few College Baseball games. I had initially called Hilton and had them book this stay to make sure there would be no problems checking in. I am disabled and use a wheelchair, so I needed a room with a roll in shower. Upon checking in there was no reservation for our stay. We requested to speak to a manager. Mike S. came out to help us. Unfortunately, there were no rooms available as the hotel was booked. Somehow Mike worked tirelessly to accommodate us. I don't know how he did it but managed to move around things. I have not seen the level of customer service like that in such a long time. He paid attention to detail, was so apologetic & even comped us a night knowing what we went through. He was our Saviour that day!! Despite the mess up with Hilton.com the hotel was beautiful, clean, tasty breakfast and made friends with most of the staff, including Frankie!! What an exceptional hotel. If we ever come back to Greensboro there is no doubt we will be staying here. Thanks again to Mike S. I don't know what we would have done without you.

This is by far one of the cleanest hotels I`ve stayed in. We spent two nights for a track and field meet. The entire place was spotless not just our room. Nester was working the desk and was very pleasant and accommodating. Highly recommend if you need a place to stay.

Extremely impressed. Very clean , well thought of room layout! Blackout blinds allowed me to sleep comfortably in a king size bed, coming off a 12hr night shift. Breakfast was plentiful with a variety of items. Overall, great experience. 1st time staying at a Tru but will not be our last.

I stayed at this hotel for the basketball tournament in 2024 and had a very poor experience. I figured I would give them one more shot in 2025 before crossing them off of my list, and they redeemed themselves. The location is perfect, the staff was nice and the room was comfortable. I have no complaints and will stay here again next year.

My wife and I came home to find a tree had fallen during a storm. We did not have electricity due to the tree pulling the wire from the house. We did not know what to do so we called Tru by Hilton in Greensboro. Nestor was working the desk and was extremely compassionate and helpful. Tru by Hilton was very clean and the rooms were very nice. If you are looking for a great place to stay you should give them a try and if you are lucky nestor will be working the desk.
